Having passion for your work helps to make work easier in any organisation, says the newly-appointed Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister, Yogesh Karan.

He made these comments yesterday while addressing staff members of the PM’s Office when they welcomed him into his office.

“Implementation is something I will be working with, with you and I hope that we perform to the best of our ability,” Mr Karan said.

“Change is very important and I believe that through discussions, we will be able to come up with more innovative ideas which will help us to move our country forward.”

He also reminded the staff members of the importance of prioritising the needs of the Fijian people especially during the difficult period that the country was going through.

Mr Karan had served in various diplomatic missions and was most recently Fiji’s High Commissioner to India.
