PM OPENS STATE-OF-THE-ART HOSPITAL IN NADI
Hon. Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka officially opened the Pacific Specialist Healthcare (PSH) Private Hospital in Nadi this afternoon.
Commending Pacific Specialist Healthcare(PSH) Private Hospital for its contribution to healthcare in Fiji the Prime Minister said the hospital’s strategic location near the international airport makes it convenient for medical tourists.
“PSH, a 100-bed surgical hospital, strives to offer accessible private healthcare to Fijians and serve as an alternative for residents of the Pacific region,” said the Prime Minister.
“PSH’s role in capacity building and training Pacific doctors is an additional benefit, promoting regional cooperation and contributing to the advancement of Fiji’s medical infrastructure. Furthermore, PSH aims to expand its presence beyond Fiji by establishing similar clinics across the Pacific region, extending its impact and services to a wider population.”
The Pacific Specialist Healthcare (PSH) Private Hospital is expected to expand into the Pacific.
The Prime Minister said PSH “…has the potential to boost the tourism and investment sector by providing advanced healthcare services to tourists and investors.”
“The availability of a state-of-the-art private hospital is expected to attract health-conscious travelers and retirees, enhancing Fiji’s reputation as a destination with comprehensive medical facilities.”
PSH offers a range of surgical specialties, including obstetrics and gynecology, urology, plastic surgery, and orthopedics. It aims to become a teaching hospital, supporting academia and research, and plans to establish a drug manufacturing and validation plant.
The Prime Minister congratulated Mr. Parvish Kumar, the owner of PSH, and his team, wishing them success in their endevours.
