Let’s Work Together to Build A Better Fiji – Prime Minister Rabuka

Prime Minister Honourable Sitiveni Ligamamada Rabuka has called on the people of Lalagavesi to support the work of the coalition government for a better Fiji.
As part of his week-long first official tour of the North as the newly-elected Prime Minister of Fiji, Honourable Rabuka said the support from the vanua is vital in building a better and stronger Fiji.
Whilst delivering his official remarks to the villagers of Wailevu in Cakaudrove after being accorded a traditional ceremony of welcome, Prime Minister Rabuka sincerely thanked them for their unwavering support over the years.
He said the government needs the support of the people and the vanua in order to ensure better education for our children, and to promote nation-building, among other important things.
The head of the coalition government further stressed the importance of working together, adding that a collective effort from all parties is instrumental in moving our nation forward.
The Prime Minister later travelled to Naweni Village this evening to meet the members of the community and delved into the important aspect of preserving our cultural identity and tradition.
He urged the villagers to carry their traditional responsibilities well without fear and to stand firm in their faith and respect one another.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Rabuka will commission the Drekeniwai Village Hall today (03.01.23) – a project that is fully funded by members of the community.
