“It is always exciting as students look forward to visiting Parliament as part of their school assessment”.
These were the comments made by the Social Science teacher of the Rocamaisala Primary School, Mrs. Sililia, during a school excursion to the Parliament House in Suva on July 10th, 2013.
“As part of our Social Sciences curriculum, students get an opportunity to visit the Parliament House and learn the unique functions carried out by the elected representatives,” said Mrs. Sisilia.
One hundred and thirty-four (134) Class 8 students accompanied by eight (8) teachers from Rocamaisala Primary School in Nabukavesi, Navua visited the Parliament House as part of their Classroom Based Assessment (CBA).
