TEAM OPM WELCOMES NEW PERMANENT SECRETARY DR RAIJELI TAGA

Staff at the Office of the Prime Minister today welcomed their newly-appointed Permanent Secretary, Dr. Raijeli Taga, during an event that also celebrated Pinktober and Diwali.
During her remarks, Dr Taga conveyed her appreciation to the staff for the kind gesture, emphasising the importance of working together to fulfil the mandate of the premier office.
She urged the staff to continue to strive for excellence and serve the people of Fiji with diligence.
Dr Taga is the first female confirmed Permanent Secretary in the history of the Office of the Prime Minister in Fiji.
To commemorate Pinktober, #TeamOPM were joined by officials from the Fiji Cancer Society who were on hand to provide an update on the work they do and reiterate measures for cancer prevention.
In celebrating the Festival of Lights, the message of continued service and love for all was highlighted during the event.
The Prime Minister Hon. Sitiveni Rabuka, the Assistant Minister Hon. Sakiusa Tubuna, Permanent Secretary Dr Taga, management and staff of the Office of the Prime Minister wish you all a HAPPY DIWALI!
