Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Honourable Sitiveni Rabuka was welcomed with a ceremonial Guard of Honour at Parliament House in Singapore today.
On hand to receive Prime Minister Rabuka was Singapore’s Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Honourable Lawrence Wong.
The national anthems of both nations were played at the welcome ceremony, followed by an inspection of the parade by Prime Minister Rabuka.
This is Prime Minister Rabuka’s second Official Visit to Singapore, after his first in 1998.
Prime Minister Rabuka’s official two-day visit reaffirms Fiji’s commitment to strengthening its partnership with Singapore through enhanced cooperation for sustainable and inclusive development in areas of mutual interest in the Asia-Pacific region.
