It is with profound sadness that the Office of the Prime Minister announces the passing of Ms. Litia Cagimaira Kaitabu, a valued staff member of the Cabinet Office.
Born on 24 August 1980, Ms. Kaitabu was a dedicated staff member of the OPM and had faithfully served with diligence, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to her responsibilities.
Throughout her decades of service, she demonstrated exemplary work ethic and loyalty.
Her contribution to the operations of Government and her supportive presence within the workplace will be deeply missed.
Ms Kaitabu passed away on 13 February, 2026 after a short illness.
On behalf of the Prime Minister Honourable Sitiveni Rabuka, the Assistant Minister Hon. Sakiusa Tubuna, the Permanent Secretary Dr Lesi Korovavala, the Secretary to Cabinet Ms Susan Kiran and all staff of the Office of the Prime Minister, we extend our sincere condolences to her family, relatives, and loved ones during this time of grief.
