Prime Minister, Honourable Voreqe Bainimarama commended the upper Tacirua community for not giving up the last 30 years and sought Government assistance in the building of Jeremiah College which he officially opened on Wednesday January 18th, 2017.
“This marks the start of an educational journey that will carry your children and many generations to come into a new era of knowledge and prosperity,” Mr. Bainimarama said.
“My Government doesn’t simply talk about the importance of education, we make access to quality education a reality,” he said.
The establishment of the school will now end the children’s ordeal in having to arrive late to school due to traffic jams along the Suva-Nausori corridor via Princess Road.
