PM RABUKA VISITS VODAFONE PNG (22-05-23)

Prime Minister Honourable Sitiveni Rabuka has commended the staff of Vodafone Papua New Guinea for their contribution towards the development of mobile telecommunication on the island nation.
Prime Minister Rabuka visited the Vodafone PNG office in Port Moresby where he was received by the organisation’s Board Director Mr Joeli Taoi and the Regional Chief Executive Officer Mr Pradeep Lal.
He was briefed by the executive management on the organisation’s growth and strategies, and its plans to collaborate with international partners to explore more telecommunication opportunities for PNG.
Hon. Rabuka said that “we are very grateful to PNG for giving Fiji an opportunity for partnership”.
Vodafone Fiji has the rights to the Vodafone brand in the Pacific and this is used by all Vodafone companies operating across the Pacific markets.
Vodafone’s network in PNG covers more than 50 per cent of the population, including Port Moresby, Lae, Madang, Mt Hagen and Goroka.
