Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka attended the Fiji Day reception, hosted by His Excellency the President, Ratu Wiliame Katonivere at the State House earlier this evening.
Joined by his wife Mrs Suluweti Rabuka, and Cabinet Ministers, members of the diplomatic corps and distinguished guests, the function was a time to reflect on Fiji’s history and remarkable future, its progress, peace and prosperity.
In further complementing the function, the Republic of the Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) displayed the “Beating Retreat”, followed by the lowering of the Fiji flag and a toast by the President to mark the day’s auspicious occasion.
