The economic potential of the “Na Vualiku Programme” is immense.
Aided by the financial support of the World Bank, the Coalition Government is not merely utilising resources—it is investing in the future of the people of Vanua Levu.
These were the views of Prime Minister Honourable Sitiveni Ligamamada Rabuka when he officially launched the “Na Vualiku Program” this evening at the Wasawasa Lodge in Savusavu.
World Bank Fiji Country Manager Mr Stephano Mocci also attended the launch with Cabinet Minister Hon Viliame Gavoka, the Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation, the Minister for Rural and Maritime Development Hon Sakiasi Ditoka, Minister for Local Government Hon Maciu Katamotu, Minister for Employment Productivity, and Industrial Relations, Hon Agni Deo Singh and Minister for iTaukei Affairs Hon Ifereimi Vasu.
The Prime Minister also acknowledged the Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation for spearheading the implementation of this transformative initiative.
